Ella is operated by Nineteen58 (Pty) Ltd. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

Account details you provide when signing in with Google or Microsoft (name, email address), your business configuration, calendar data you connect, call audio and transcripts handled on your behalf, and messages Ella sends and receives for your business.

How we use it

Only to run your receptionist: answering calls, booking meetings, transferring calls, taking messages, and sending confirmations and reminders. We do not sell personal information.

Storage and processors

Data is stored with vetted infrastructure providers. Call handling, telephony, messaging, and hosting are performed by sub-processors under contract. A current list is available on request.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing privacy@nineteen58.co.za.
